Eating Out in Sweden

United Kingdom: Eating Out - Restaurant

In Sweden you can of course choose between more traditional fare or experience the innovative and sumptuous restaurants. If you’re on the move in Sweden, backpacking or camping, you can always stop in for breakfast at a local hotel or hostel for warm food and hospitality.
Try the all-you-can-eat “brekkies” at hostels, and get your day going with tea, coffee, fresh juice, cereals, and cold cut meats. It’s very economical too. Cafes in Sweden serve generous sandwiches until approximately 3pm, and this is also quite affordable. It’s a priority to go to a smorgasbord buffet is Sweden. They can include up to 40 dishes and are a great Scandinavian tradition.
Be adventurous in the more traditional restaurants and try the reindeer filled with potato dumplings, or Swedish hash made of 10 finely chopped potatoes with onion, beet root, and cooked beef.
